The exhibition displays the conclusions of an investigation into Spitz-Rund, an oil painting on cardboard created by the renowned Russian artist Wassilij Kandinskij in 1925. The strongly experimental artwork is among the most famous preserved at the gamec - Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo. The thorough diagnostic campaign and the intervention on the painting were carried out by the Laboratories of the Restoration Conservation Center 'La Venaria Reale'. Through data emerged during the research and the close exploration, the painting is presented in a new light, guiding the visitor to the discover a masterpiece and the different phases that lie behind the restoration of a piece of art. Graphics and communication are based on Kandinskij's color theory and synesthetic analysis, simplifying the artist's messages into a POP key and adapting them to the enjoyment of a wide audience.
