Contrast. As part of a territorial mapping workshop, we created a geo-graphic atlas composed of a visual kit to decipher a territory in a completely different way, using innovative and different methods of research and implementation. The data processing method uses a humanistic interpretation model, which has been experimented with in the field of Information Design, to add value and meaning to the process of reading information. During brainstorming sessions, we realized that the coexistence of humankind and nature corresponds to two levels of reading. This mix of collision and balance has been the focal point in Contrast. Presence through abandonment. The relationship between nature and humankind is marked by dialogue and clashes. They complement one another and they are mutually exclusive at the same time. We functionally processed the information working with some design limitations like the use of two colors screenprinting, a different printing format, and looking at texts and map through two colored lenses, one red and one blue, corresponding to humankind and nature.
